RIDEPRO, the Australian suspension specialists, have developed a Toyota Landcruiser heavy duty suspension kit to meet the requirements of a Federal Government Authority and it is now making this suspension kit available to all its customers.
Designed increase the Gross Vehicle Mass of the 100 series Landrace with Independent Front Suspension, the RIDEPRO kit lifts the GVM to 3495 kg and raises the ride height slightly above the standard height.
This is a fully engineered suspension kit which is signed off by authorised automotive engineers and complies with all of the requirements of the DOTARS Code of Practice published in 2007.
"For the 4WD tourer heading off for that long dreamed of trip, or the commercial operator carrying heavy equipment, this is the ideal solution," says Josh Browne, Suspension Development Manager. "Safety and functional performance are the basis for all RIDEPRO developments and this unique package maintains the commitment."
The upgrade has a Recommended Retail Price of $2,495 and includes heavy duty torsion bars, heavy duty rear coil springs, front and rear shock absorbers as well as installation by an approved RIDEPRO workshop, a wheel alignment and an Engineer's Certificate.
RIDEPRO has embarked on a program of GVM upgrades for a number of popular models and additional kits will be made available as soon as testing is complete.
